The US Open

It's been hectic here in Queens. Who would have thought that Kew Gardens could be so thrilling. I have no voice mail from the month construction they are doing on my street from putting in a new water main to accommodate all the development in my area. (Noise, dust, trucks, no water from 8-4; they say this is the last day? I say, HA, HA, HA.) There was the all night worry from the hurricane which I posted about earlier this week. Then the earthquake I experienced in my Starbucks office which still doesn't have power...in Little Neck. (Actually, it may have...I didn't check.) And to top off all of this excitement the US Open is here! I will post about this during the next weeks, my concerns and my impressions. But for now, here are a few pictures in case you have not been streaming or watching on ESPN.

My goodness what an exciting time you've been having in New York lately. First of all, I am glad you are safe! Secondly, I am sorry you've had so many natural disaster type things going on there and messing with your work. And finally, what awesome photos. I like the look of your blog. :)

Thanks, Margo. My plate has been full. But I am thankful my bro sold his house (which no tree fell on) and we are all well.
